As office environments become more open and collaborative, employers are freeing up space by clearing out the clutter—and consolidating storage.
Through our partnerships with Spacesaver, Henriksen/Butler, and other top furniture manufacturers, Spacesaver Intermountain is ready to help with integrated office storage solutions that fit your needs—and business goals.
With these open office blueprints comes the need to condense and consolidate spaces—and the storage within them—to make room for interactive conference rooms, break areas, and other places where creativity and innovation can be nurtured.
We’ve assisted many offices and companies in the Intermountain West with these transitions—particularly in the use of Spacesaver’s high-density mobile storage systems. These systems compact and condense materials, creating the space needed for these types of environments. Within these units, shelving can be equipped with lockable doors, storage and file drawers, bins, and pullout reference shelves to accommodate a wide array of files, supplies, and equipment for a number of office types:

Spacesaver’s signature high-density mobile storage systems, also known as “shelves that move” or “shelves on rails”, eliminate wasted space in aisles by sliding the shelves together. Aisles are dynamically generated at the point of need by electronic touchpads, manually operated handles, or rotating soft-touch hand knobs. These systems help office employees work safely and efficiently, while providing more storage in less space.
Workplace breaches in security are very real—and with employers being held liable for any harm suffered by employees on account of a breach, it’s become more important than ever to make sure paper files are secure and access is limited only to the people who are authorized to work with them.
Spacesaver’s compact mobile shelving doesn’t just save space—it also has the capacity to limit these issues, allowing HR departments and other divisions of an office to rest a bit easier. Security control systems, such as the Touch Technology Control (an LCD touchscreen with audit access via PIN code or card authorization) or a touchpad aisle access control (another security control that can be configured to keep your most heavily used aisle available with limited access to aisles with secure files and materials) can be specified.
In addition to our compact mobile shelving options, we also offer several solutions, such as file cabinets, modular storage and filing supplies, to fit your needs. Learn more by heading to our Cabinets or Filing Supplies pages.
